Kiersten Hay
Kiersten is an HCI PhD candidate within the Design School at Northumbria University investigating the construction and management of digital identity by women living with HIV in the UK. She is currently interested in the use of design research methods to reveal information often distorted due to the social requirements of human communication.
Previously, Kiersten has received a Master of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Edinburgh/Edinburgh College of Arts in Design Informatics and a Bachelor of Design with honours from Ryerson University in Fashion Communications. As an interdisciplinary designer, her previous design experience includes both digital and print magazines, digital marketing, craft, and new media.
